Why generic policies miss
A template can't write your policy.
Generic small business policies are designed for the average, a coffee shop in a strip mall, a consultant with one laptop. Your business isn't average. A restaurant's biggest exposure is a kitchen fire and liquor liability; a contractor's is installation floater and jobsite liability; a creative studio's is professional liability and equipment.
We write coverage that knows the difference. And we explain it in English.
- Your landlord's policy protects their building, not your stock, your equipment, or your liability when a customer slips on your floor. A generic business owners policy is a 70% solution, an industry-tuned one closes the rest.
- A business owners policy = general liability + property + business income, bundled. Not in it: business auto, workers' comp, professional liability, cyber. Those are separate. Most agencies don't tell you what's missing, we do.
- Yes. It's easier to get your coverage right from day one than to fix it later, so we love hearing from new businesses. A few of the questions and the insurance companies we use are different for a new business, and we handle all of that for you.
